Balance is a tricky thing.
I am constantly finding myself having to balance family and work and find myself failing all the time.
I crave for the day when I don't need a diary as all I do day in day out is praise the living God in his presence!

Hey brother Paul,
What you say is an interesting difficulty for anyone who has a family and is involved in ministry of any sort. But one thing I have learnt about it is this: I am fine and able to minister when my family is fine, therefore my family will always take priority over ministry stuff. I think that this is being hinted at in 1Tim 3v5-6 and, also as one in leadership it is essential to model the importance of family to a church which struggles with such priorities.
If you are failing at this then ask your dear wife what she sees as important. Remember, you are charged to love her....are you demonstrating this to her or do you love your work more?? Sorry to ask you such a question but these things can be difficult to learn especially if it means that we have to do less "work" as a result.
I love you dude and want to continue to see you do well. Rich blessings from Brazil. David
